Sixteen ... Hands

WILL'S P E N
FAST ... draw'n'again

Horse'n'around{}
Ride'n'across them wide open plains{}Never see'n'nothing as wild as a storm'n'rain{}
Just me and my horse watch'n'the'sun overhead{}As we slowly tread till the night tucks us in bed{}
Suddenly I'm awake'n'by the fierce twirl'n'wind and there float'n'air{}My horse twister again{}
Now you all must'n'think this'n'only campfire tales{}For twister is just the name of my horse{}As we ride along the trails{}
Go on ahead he'll talk straight from his mouth{}And I'll yell twister{}Then we're both gone in a shout{}
Just me and my horse sing'n'to'the'moon and to the stars{}While wait'n'for the next twirl'n'wind{}That'll take us afar{}
Ride'n'across them wide open plains{}Just me and old twister{}Play'n'them twirl'n'games{}

FAST ... draw'n'again

Buffalo Me{}
I rode the range near'n'twenty year ago{}Across those green prairies{}Herd'n'them buffaloes{}
I herd'em'now every night I sleep{}And thank'n'God that'n'stirrups{}Still fit my feet{}
I rode the range all the time know'n'it wasn't so{}Nevertheless there ain't much difference about a cow{}And a buffalo{}
I would herd'em'fast and I would herd'em'slow{}But nothing ever went as fast as{}Twenty-year ago{}
I rode the range so vast'n'wide while herd'n'them buffalo among{}A war dance cry{}
If I could I would herd'em'at the drop of a hat{}Sit'n'on the back of old twister{}Watch'em'get fat{}
I rode the range be it near or be it far{}Back'n'forth on those green prairies{}Sit'n'my butt on fire{}

Ride'em'cowboy ride'em'fast and ride'em'wild{}Let'em'have their head{}For just a little while{}
Guns'a'blaze'n'war'explodes upon the range{}The battle almost over{}For the cowboy and his reign{}
Ride'em'cowboy ride'em'fast and ride'em'wild{}Let'em'have their head{}For just a little while{}
We all know'em'as'the'day when the west did ride{}The days of the Lone Ranger and Tonto at his side{}
